The eColor+ System provides you with everything that you need to create high-quality, indoor/outdoor posters, banners, backdrops, wall decals, and more. Located at LOLMS, this new printer has enriched our hallways, media center, classrooms, and main office. Q: What effect has the eColor+ printer had on teaching and learning?

I love this printer! We have found so many uses for it but most important as it relates to student learning, we use it for National history Day, a theme-based research project using primary and secondary sources. Students design content and we can print it out in large format. The results are impressive and the quality of the posters help students create a compelling narrative as they defend their thesis.

In addition, we utilize the eColor+ for Invention Convention which is an opportunity for students to be innovative as they solve a local or global problem.

Everyone loves the vibrant colors and size of the posters-some are pretty big! They create a visually engaging atmosphere wherever the posters are placed and people are more likely to stop and engage in what the poster is trying to convey. I’m also able to print out instructions, guidelines, notices and many other things that we need for everyday life in a school.

Q: What’s the process for someone who wants to print a poster?

Good question. We’ve created a form that is required to fill out. It has all the pertinent information we need to get the print job done. It’s important to plan ahead so make sure you allow for at least a few weeks for the request to be completed.
